About

Amberly Angelina is an aspiring Costume Designer and Pattern Maker. Born in New York City with Hispanic descent and raised in Miami, Florida, Amberly strives to be an asset in any work environment.

Her love for the arts began at four years old when she met the world of theater. Her first musical being, of course, Seussical Musical Jr. at the Miami Children’s Theater. Amberly Angelina studied Theater throughout her middle and high school years but it was in Sophomore year that she fell in love with the costuming process. Amberly had the opportunity to attend District Thespians and State Thespians within Florida where she received Superior Awards for her costume designs and construction. Through this she learned that she loved being on the production side of the stage and working with other collaboratives to bring stories to life!

Currently, Amberly Angelina is a student at the Savannah College of Art Design studying Production Design with a concentration in Costume Design. She has taken elective classes within the Musical Theater and Fashion Design programs to further her knowledge on the process of the actor and the technical aspects of pattern making to perfect her craft and dress actors appropriately and comfortably.

Amberly has found her passions, interests, and life goals within the arts. She hopes to create change one stitch at a time!
