Savannah College of Art and Design, Class Project - Fall 2025

This project was an assignment from my PROD322: Character Interpretation for Costume in Film and Television class. The goal of the assignment was to choose a character from the television series, “Sex Education” and create a costume closet for the series based of readings from the script and our own interpretation of the character along with an iconic item that is showcased throughout each season and render. The costume closet for the entire episodic is meant to show growth and changes that occur within the character. The character I designed for was Maeve Wiley.

This is for class purposes only!

Overall mood board for the character and how I envisioned her to be.

My concept when it came to this project was to show Maeve as a closed off character who eventually opens up and becomes more in tune with herself as the series progresses. To showcase this I designed costumes with more colors and changed the pose the render is in.

Iconic Item for Character:

I decided to choose a messenger bag as my iconic item for this assignment because I believed it is a versatile object that can be used throughout the entirety of the series.
