Savannah College of Art and Design, Winter 2025
Position: Associate Costume Designer
Conceptualized and worked alongside a costume design team of 10 to design costumes for SCAD’s Winter Main Stage Play, “Shakespeare In Love”, under the supervision and mentorship of Emmy-Award Costume Designer, Janie Bryant. SFLM560 was the course and a submission of a portfolio was required to be considered and then chosen to participate within this project. Additional tasks included sourcing costume pieces and working within the Costume Shop to complete function notes and taking part in actor fittings. Created ideation sketches for two principle roles (Nurse and Burbage) along with the court ensemble looks. Sourced a full look for one of the tavern wenches (excludes wig and makeup).
For Burbage’s look, I created the ideation sketch that was used in the final costume bible.
For the Nurse’s look, I created the ideation sketch that was used in the final costume bible. Based upon historical research and mood boards that were made within the class.
